GRP Lift Pit Liner: Technical Specifications
Henleycraft GRP lift pit liners are manufactured to a consistent specification developed over 30 years of production. Every liner leaves our Portsmouth facility ready to install, with no on-site fabrication or curing required.
Construction
Each liner is a one-piece GRP shell, made from layers of glass fibre reinforcement impregnated with polyester resin, with both the inner and outer faces finished in isophthalic gelcoat. It is delivered as a single unit, ready to install.
| Component | Specification |
|---|---|
| Reinforcement | Chopped strand mat and woven glass cloth |
| Resin | Lloyd's Register approved polyester resin |
| Gelcoat | DNV (Det Norske Veritas) approved isophthalic gelcoat |
The resins used in our liners are approved by Lloyd's Register for marine GRP construction, and the gelcoat carries DNV marine type approval. Full material details and approval references are available on request.
